Amanda Finnegan (T.C.R.G) is the Owner/Director of Reel Irish Entertainment. Amanda was born and raised in Galway (West Ireland). Her love of Irish dance began at the early age of four. Having competed successfully at national and international levels, Amanda redirected her focus towards building her reputation as an Irish Step Dance choreographer and instructor. Amanda has choreographed Irish Dance showcases internationally, bringing a taste of Ireland to a multitude of countries around the globe. Amanda danced professionally in various shows including the infamous Raglan Road right here in Orlando!
Amanda is also Owner/Director of the Finnegan Academy of Irish dance, where she teaches students both competitive and ‘show’ Irish Dance. The Finnegan Academy of Irish Dance was established in 2016 and continues to flourish in both reputation and size, currently comprising six locations throughout Orlando.
As well as the aforementioned, Ms. Amanda Finnegan was recently appointed Director of Irish Dance for an upcoming new production that will be hitting the stage summer of 2019.
Lindsey Craig has been dancing since she was 8 years old and has been continuing her passion while attending the University of Central Florida. Lindsey is a Championship dancer who has participated in numerous shows and competed in the Southern Region, U.S. National and World's competitions as well as successfully passing up through Level 7 Dancer Certificate and Diploma Examinations. Her shows include dancing at St. Patrick's Day parade in Winter Park, WESH 2 News, X-Factor in Daytona Beach, numerous restaurants and pubs in the Orlando area along with libraries, nursing homes and various other shows promoting Irish Dance. In addition, Lindsey has many competitive achievements including 1st place at World's in Dance Drama, placed in the top 20 in both 8-hand and 4-hand at both Regional and National competitions as well as competed in Solo competitions over the last 7 years at both the Regional and National level. Lindsey has been a dancer in many shows, teacher's assistant as well as a mentor to students who are learning various Irish dance steps.
Alec Martinez is originally from Wisconsin where he started his training at age 8, and competitively danced at the national and international level for 9 years both as a soloist and in ceili. During this time he had the opportunity to perform with fine entertainers like Brother, Off Kilter, and the Chieftains; to crowds as small as local pub regulars and as large as the main stage of the worlds biggest Irish cultural festival. After a hiatus to pursue his career in physical therapy and athletic conditioning brought him to Florida, Alec is pleased to return to the stage with Reel Irish Entertainment and continues to perfect his skills weekly, training at the Finnegan Academy of Irish Dance.
Katie McLoughlin has been dancing since the age of 4 and continues to compete with Finnegan Academy at Championship level within CLRG. So far in her competitive career, Katie has achieved soloist regional and national placements as well as recalling at All Ireland’s bringing home two placement medals.
Alongside her solo accomplishments, Katie has winning Regional titles as well as placing 3rd, 8th and 10th in the World for Ceili dancing. Katie has been dancing with Reel Irish Entertainment for three years !
